Who am I? That's never been a question I've answered well. I suppose it depends on what you mean by that question. My name, well initials are R N W. Nationality, American, though I love to experience new cultures and learn languages. It's so cool to see what things are similar and what things are completely different between cultures. There is something that appeals to me in the laid back atmosphere of South America where people play sports on the street, wear sandals, and take naps after lunch. On the other hand Europe fits well too, where people continue to have style well into their 40s, people care to learn languages, and have dreams and aspirations. Maybe the fact that I like both of those is what makes me American.
What more am I? I'm a truth seeker. I know I'm raised with biases, but I'm doing my best to get over them and not be closed minded. I'm not just going to agree with you because I like you, you need to back up what you say. Now of course, I may or may not tell you that I disagree with you because I'm a people pleaser. I love being with people, and having a good time with people, so I generally do my very best to get along with you. Back to truth seeking, I'm a Christian born and raised. I have yet to regret that decision. To date it has only brought peace, excellence, joy, and strength into my life, and continues to be a solid foundation to build my life on.
I'm an engineer. I love how things fit together. I love how they relate to each other. I love how one clever idea makes all our lives easier. I plan to have lots of those ideas.
I'm an artist for lack of a better word. That means I make music and express myself most deeply that way, although hitherto I have mostly stolen other peoples writings that I relate to. I draw and design. I photograph in an uneducated "I'm doing the best I can" sort of way.
Lastly, I'm not really sure what I'm going to do with all that. I know I need to grow in all of that. Growing is a lot of work but the results are worthwhile. Each step of the way, I just pursue what God lays in front of me with all I've got. Hopefully that keeps working out for me because I don't know any other way of living life.
That's all you need to know about me.
Also, I may rewrite all this tomorrow.
